Todtmoos is gelegen in het zuiden van het majestueuze Zwarte Woud, en bovendien in de buurt van het bekende drielandenpunt Duitsland, Zwitserland en Frankrijk. Het skigebied is vooral afhankelijk van koude en sneeuwrijke winters, mits zijn hoogteligging. Maar met een dikke sneeuwlaag is het een uiterst interessant gebied.
